California and in-state tuition for illegal immigrants
Submitted by JimB on Mon, 11/15/2010 - 14:31It's always difficult to talk about illegal immigration, but I feel compelled to speak up on this issue.
Today, the California State Supreme Court upheld a law that allows illegal immigrants who meet high school attendance requirements to receive the in-state tuition rate for state colleges instead of the out-of-state rate, which is considerably higher. Read more

The Darrell Issa Witch Hunt
Submitted by VernosB on Tue, 11/09/2010 - 16:32Darrell Issa, the new chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, said, “I want seven hearings a week, times 40 weeks.” He wants each of his seven subcommittees to hold one or two hearings each week. What happened to that small government the GOP/Tea Party called for? His investigations will increase the size of government by having 74 Inspector Generals hire staff to meet his demands.
