I accidentally knocked over my coffee mug, snapping the handle off. With out hesitation I reached for the Crazy Glue. Crazy Glue is a wonderful product. If used properly you can repair almost anything. But, if used incorrectly it can be a real pain in the butt. You can glue your fingers together, glue what you are repairing to a table top or glue things you aren’t trying to glue.

This train of thought brings me to an opinion about the Tea Party. We all know how dysfunctional our political system has been. Polarization of the two parties has caused a great deal of stress amongst the common voter. Enter the Tea Party, they are like Crazy Glue. Instead of backing and endorsing viable candidates, the Tea Party fronts a few ideologically troublesome people. Their version of Crazy Glue is named Sharron Angle, Rand Paul and Christine O’Donnell; just to name a few. Each has said things that are so far out of touch with reality they are down right scary, and now each is trying to walk back those comments. What is even more frightening, desperate to repair our government, the Republican/Tea Party is using these Crazy Glue candidates improperly.
